Mount Disappointment Summit Walk

The Mount Disappointment Summit Walk is a 3.5 km return track that takes you through forest to the top of Mt Disappointment in Clonbinane.

The Summit walk begins and concludes at Blair's Hut Campground.

The Summit Walk is a 3.5 km loop track that takes you through forest to the top of Mt Disappointment. It’s a steady grade 3 walk with some uphill sections, suitable for most walkers with a moderate level of fitness. The walk also features the RAAF Memorial Plaque to honour the 8 airmen that lost their lives during 4 separate plane crashes.

At the summit, you'll get clear views over the surrounding ranges. The track is well-marked and usually takes about 2 hours to complete.
This walk commences at the Blair's Hut campground. Dogs are allowed on leash.
