Train of Life

Train of life by artist Tai Snaith was commissioned by Mitchell Shire Council in 2025. The three giant echidnas of bronze (Oodgeroo), charred redgum (Chi Chi) and concrete (Sandi) are a tribute to Wandong's railway history and its resilient community after the Black Saturday fires. This point of interest is located in Lions Park.
